The common name of this flower “forget me not” rings out like a bell — its chime is a plea but is also a direction. It asks us to look towards an inquiry around what is remembered and what is forgotten. How grief and remembrance and love all sit together.

This is a handmade item. The leaves, blossoms and buds are all made with handpainted crepe paper, and wired for shape and longevity.

It is displayed on a wood frame that both surrounds and extends the presence of this diminutive but unforgettable flower. The edges of the frame are painted with a lustrous gold wax, and it hangs simply on the wall with a keyhole on the back. Each piece comes signed with a gold wax seal on the reverse, embossed with the Golden Age logo.
